#061 - Smooth Sailing

$150.00

This beautifully crafted vessel made of Eastern White Cedar from a tree that was felled in power line clearing operations along Bryn Athyn’s South Avenue. It was rough turned before being allowed to dry, then remounted and finish turned to its final dimensions. The top of the vase was dyed with a beautiful teal and green that soaked into the wood to accentuate the grain before being sanded to a 2000 grit prior to finishing with a high gloss lacquer. A one of a kind piece with local roots to the Bryn Athyn area. 5.5”W x 5.75”H

Stemming from a passion that was ignited in my father’s woodshop as a child, Odin’s Woodworks was founded in 2020. Each piece is handmade in my Bryn Athyn woodshop using only the finest hardwoods, meticulously finished to provide you a one of a kind piece that can never be duplicated.
